Nicole B. CVT – Practice Manager

Nicole is a graduate of Johnson College and has been working with Dr. Noto as a CVT since 2007, prior to opening the doors of MVH in 2008. After several years she became the Head Veterinary Technician and continued to help build our team of strong veterinary technicians and assistants. Recently Nicole was promoted to Practice Manager, and now focuses on new practices to support our team, as well as our clients and patients. She feels very lucky to have made a career within the field of veterinary medicine, working alongside phenomenal staff and helping heal the most innocent animals.

Currently Nicole resides locally with her husband & 2 sons, and their 4 irreplaceable pets. Her family consists of Shelby a 15 year old beautiful akita/german shepherd mix, Haley a 12 year old lively flat coat retriever, and 2 bossy domestic short haired cats: Roo (15y), & Buggy(12y).

Gary A. CVTg​ – Head Technologist

Gary is a Certified Veterinary Technologist here at our Throop location. He graduated from Johnson College in 2016 receiving an Associate Degree in Animal Science and a certificate for the Veterinary Technology Program. In 2022 he pursued his Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology to become a Veterinary Technologist. He completed this degree through the University of Missouri and graduated in December of 2023.

After finishing his post graduate externship with us, he joined our team in July of 2016. Shortly after, he took his national exam and became a Certified Technician. Gary loves working with animals and knew that he wanted to be in some type of position from a young age. He takes a special interest in Animal Nutrition and is always working to learn more about it. He is the father to two amazing pugs, Madelyne and Beckett, and two adorable cats Phoebe and Trevor.

In his spare time, Gary enjoys travelling, restoring old furniture, cooking, painting, and spending time with his family!

Kathy C. 

Kathy is a Veterinary Technician at our Throop location.  She is a graduate of Harcum College where she earned an Associate’s degree in Animal Science and a certificate in Veterinary Technology.  She joined us at Memorial Veterinary Hospital in 2012.

At home,Kathy lives with her husband Mike and her four daughters.  In her spare time she loves reading, paddle boarding and hanging out with family and friends.  She is busy at home with her two cats, Archie and Stanley; two dogs, Apollo and Ruger and a coop full of chickens.

Erica C.

Erica is a Veterinary Technician here at our Throop location. She graduated from Johnson College in 2007 and received an Associate’s Degree in Animal Science and a certificate for the Veterinary Technician Program. 

Nicole D. CVT

Nicole joined the Urgent Care team in 2019. She is a 2014 Johnson College graduate. After college she worked as an ER vet tech for 5 years. Nicole has pets of all kinds. Dogs, cats, horses, ferrets, chickens and rabbits. She raised and showed pigs, lambs and dairy cows through 4H for 11 years.

Nicole enjoys being outdoors and spending time surrounded by family and friends. In the warmer months she likes to sit in the sun, plant flowers, float down the Delaware River, ride her horses and ride on the back of a Harley-Davidson. She enjoys a cool fall day and spending those nights around a fire. In the winter time she enjoys riding her snowmobile.

Jackie L. CVT

Jackie is a Certified Veterinary Technician here at our Throop location. Jackie graduated from Johnson Technical Institute in 2000 receiving an Associate’s Degree in Animal Science and a Certificate in Veterinary Technology.  She took her national exam in 2000 becoming a Certified Technician.

When she is not here, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading and relaxing with her doodle Phineas and her cats Jace, Blu, Feebee and Violet.

Kristin L. CVT

Kristin graduated from Johnson College in 2013 with an Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology, and became a certified veterinary technician upon graduating. She has been working as a veterinary technician since 2012, and has also worked as an externship evaluator for students enrolled in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technician program. Kristin joined the Memorial Veterinary Hospital team in 2021.

Courtney M.  CVT

Courtney is a CVT that joined the MVH team August 2020. She graduated from Johnson College in 2009 and received an Associate’s Degree in Animal Science and a certificate for the Veterinary Technician Program. She has worked in multiple areas of the field including emergency, surgical, day practice and large animal. When not working at MVH she works with the race horses at Mohegan Sun Pocono Downs.  When not working she enjoys spending time with family, her fiancé Steve and their lab mix Boog and 4 chihuahuas; Snuggles, Chloe, Zoey and Mojo. All 5 of which were rescues.

Lauren M. 

Samantha R.

Samantha is a Veterinary Technician at our Throop location. She graduated from Pittston Area High School in 2013 and went on to graduate from Johnson College in 2016 where she received an Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology.

Samantha is known as the crazy cat lady but loves helping all animals, no matter species or size.  She is the mother of 5 cats, Strudel, Stewart, Lily, Oscar and Bubbles.

When she isn’t working she enjoys spending time at the the gym, being outdoors and spending quality time with her animals, family and friends. 

Morganne S. CVT

Morganne is a Certified Veterinary Technician at our Throop location. She is a graduate of the Vet Tech Institute in Pittsburgh, where she received an Associate’s degree in Animal Science and a Certificate in Veterinary Technology. She graduated in 2019 and took her national exam in 2020 becoming a Certified Technician. She began working at Memorial Veterinary Hospital in July 2020. 

When she’s not here helping our clients’ pets, she is home with her four dogs; Precious, Brego, Pippin and Thorin, four cats; Sparrow, Raven, Saige, and Morpheus, horse, Rayne, and crested gecko, Glaedr. She enjoys going on adventures outdoors, gardening, and reading.

Carli V. – CVT

Carli is a certified veterinary technician at our Throop hospital. She graduated from Johnson College with an associate of applied science in Veterinary Technology. Carli joined the MVH team in 2019. Carli has 2 fur babies at home: her cat Marcy & Golden mix Cacia. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, kayaking, & gaming.

Heather F.

Heather loves working with all animals. She does take special interest in urgent care and is always interested in learning more. She is a mother to a wonderful daughter, and two sassy fur babies, Phoebe and Pepper. 

In her spare time, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter going to the arcade or bowling, spending time outside, walking her corgis around the park, and spending time with friends and family!

Debbi F.

Debbi is a veterinary technician who graduated from Scranton High School in 2013 and Johnson College in 2018 with an Associates degree in Animal Science. She is a proud mom of 2 boys, Odin and Orion,  and 2 dogs, Belle and Chubbz. Belle is a Pit Bull and Chubbz is an English Bulldog. She enjoys spending time outside with husband Tim & family, gardening, cooking, and relaxing.

Kaitlyn G. AVA

Penelope (2008-2023) “Forever with MVH”  

When MVH opened it’s doors back in 2008 this furry feline came to us through a client that was an advocate for stray and abandoned cats.  She was only 8oz, needed to be fed a liquid diet and was just the cutest bundle of fluff; we couldn’t bare to see her leave us.  Feisty doesn’t even begin to describe this wild soul.  She lures you in while bobbing and weaving between your legs, asking for attention and then does not hesitate to tell you when she’s had enough!  We tried multiple times to give her another feline friend to spend her days with but she insists on being our Queen Bee!

Rebecca K.

Rebecca has been a veterinarian technician since 2005, and joined MVH’s team in July 2023.  Recently from New Jersey, she is enjoying the Pennsylvania experiences with her son, pitbull and boxer. Having done boxer and pitbull rescue for years she has a passion for helping animals in whatever way possible.  She enjoys spending her spare time being outside during the summer months.  

Marissa C. CVT 

Marissa is a CVT who joined the MVH team in 2019. She has been working in the veterinary field since 2016. She graduated from Johnson College in 2018 with an Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology, she became certified shortly after. Marissa recently spent a year in New Hampshire with her boyfriend Nick and moved back to the area to be with family. She has an interest in lab work/diagnostics and surgery. She has 2 dogs, Gunner and Kira. She enjoys hiking with her dogs, kayaking, skiing, and reading.
